2016-04-08 :: On April 4-5 Leontief Centre Research Fellow Andrey Yushkov took part in the meeting of the Expert Council on PPP at the UN Economic Commission for Europe (Geneva, Switzerland) and Urban Growth Forum (Halle, Germany)

On April 4-5, Leontief Centre Research Fellow Andrey Yushkov took partin the meeting of the Expert Council on PPP at the UN Economic Commission for Europe (Geneva, Switzerland). As part of the meeting, experts discussed the development of the Public-Private Partnership Best Practice Guide in the field of transport. The main authors of the Guide and Svetlana Maslova (St. Petersburg University) and Andrey Yushkov, who work in close contact with leading international researchers and practitioners of PPP. The publication of the Guide is planned for 2016, after several rounds of expert discussions.

On April 7-8, Andrey Yushkov participated in the Urban Growth Forum organized by the Halle Institute for Economic Research and presented his ongoing research “Urban Economic Growth through the Lens of Federalism: TheCaseofRussianCity-Regions” (jointly with Irina Slepukhina from the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography in Leipzig).
